One-Day Workshop: Studio Dog Photography with 1–3 Flashes
Get ready to take your animal photography to the next level!
In just one day, you’ll learn from scratch how to create lighting setups using 1 to 3 flashes to photograph dogs in the studio with style and confidence, experimenting with different light modifiers.
If you love photographing dogs but still feel uncertain in the studio, this workshop is made for you.
In a controlled, professional environment, we’ll tackle the challenges of working with moving subjects, choosing and positioning lights, managing the shooting process, and achieving well-balanced, high-quality images.
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
• Technique & theory: how a flash works, essential equipment, and which modifiers to use
• Lighting setups: from 1 up to 3 flashes
• Working with dogs: posing, eye direction, photographer–dog interaction, creating calmness and confidence in the studio
• Post-production tips: enhancing fur texture, bringing out the eyes, and achieving clean, crisp images
WHO IS IT FOR?
• Amateur or professional photographers of any level who already photograph dogs and want to improve their studio lighting skills
• Photographers familiar with flash or artificial light who want to apply it to animal subjects
• Anyone looking to expand their pet photography portfolio with advanced studio portraits
No prior studio experience is required—just basic camera operation skills (exposure settings and focus control).
Participants must have Photoshop and Lightroom installed before the course.
